Legendary Pop Music Icon Tiffany to Perform Free Concert on Pride Day
Santa Cruz, CA – The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is proud to host Pride Day honoring the LGBTQ+ community on Saturday, September 21 at the Boardwalk. Boardwalk admission is free for all guests and legendary pop music icon Tiffany will perform a free concert from 6:00 to 7:30pm on the Boardwalk’s main stage located along the historic Colonnade.
Boardwalk rides and attractions open at 11:00am on Pride Day. The first 1,000 guests to purchase a Boardwalk ride wristband for September 21 will receive a rainbow flower lei. One-of-a-kind Boardwalk Pride t-shirts are available for purchase at The Walk retail location on the Boardwalk. Guests will enjoy rides and games plus fun photo ops. A DJ will perform on the Pirate Ship Stage from 2:00 to 4:00pm and information booths supporting the LGBTQ+ community will be open from 11:00am to 4:00pm.
“The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is proud to host Pride Day in support of the LGBTQ+ community,” said Boardwalk spokesperson Gladys Rodriguez. “This unique event will be fun for the entire family and Tiffany’s concert is not to be missed.”
Tiffany has earned two number one-hit singles, I Think We’re Alone Now and Could’ve Been. She set a record as the youngest female artist to top the Billboard charts with her debut album. She continues to thrill audiences with her iconic hits and original music.
The world-famous Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is family-owned and operated. Opened in 1907, the Beach Boardwalk is a classic seaside amusement park featuring the historic 1924 Giant Dipper wooden roller coaster, the 1911 Looff Carousel, dozens of family-friendly rides and midway games, indoor arcades, and mini golf.
